Title: Corporate Tax Senior Associate
Location: Must be in NYC or willing to relocate.(Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Description:

• The Corporate Tax team generally has the primary tax relationship with the client, and you will help with the engagement management for multiple clients for your service line – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.
• You’ll collaborate with other team members and specialists in our tax practice, including our Washington National Tax Office (WNTO), to support all areas of the client’s tax functions, because together is how we succeed.
• From day one, you’ll be empowered by our tools, technology, training, and support from other team members to take responsibility to produce quality work and help you achieve more, confidently.

Technical skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum two to four years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
• CPA preferred - Experience in public accounting is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong teamwork and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Can travel as needed

Must-haves

• CPA certification preferred or CPA eligible required
• Strong technical skills in tax compliance and consulting
• Must have Tax Provision experience 
• Must work in a top 20 top accounting firm in recent years

Required Skills

• Must have Tax Provision
• ASC 740 experience

Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills

• CPA certification preferred or CPA eligible required
• Experience in public accounting, top 20 accounting firms * No job hoping every 1-2 years

Years of Experience: 2-4 years of progressive tax experience
Industry Experience: Public accounting experience is a plus, with a focus on corporate tax solutions
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
