Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, with a strong focus on international shipments and compliance. The Logistics Coordinator will manage the entire shipping process, from initial planning and documentation to final delivery, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inbound/Outbound Shipment Coordination:
- Coordinate and track all inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
International Shipment Management:
- Manage all aspects of international shipments, including import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Prepare and review all necessary international shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export declarations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export laws and regulations, including customs regulations, trade agreements, and sanctions.
- Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate the smooth and efficient clearance of goods through customs.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in international trade regulations and advise internal stakeholders on the impact of these changes.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all shipments, including shipping documents, tracking information, and communication logs.
- Ensure that all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Prepare reports on shipping activities, including shipment volumes, costs, and delivery performance.
Communication and Problem Solving:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all shipping-related inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve any shipping issues.
- Proactively identify and address potential shipping delays or problems.
