Job Description
Job Title: Tool and Die Maker - CNC Operator
Duration: 6 Months
Location: San Antonio, TX
Candidates should be available to work rotating shifts based on business need (1st & 2nd)
Position Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. San Antonio, TX.
Physical requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination working with small parts.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• 5+ years of experience in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in G-code programming and CNC controls.
• Strong computing skills, excellent communication skills, and customer-oriented.
• Ability to work a variable shift (1st or 2nd).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
