Job Description

Job Title: Document Controller
Location: Thacker Pass - 1 hour northwest of Winnemucca, NV
Duration: 12 months
 
Full Time Office/Project - No Telework
 
 
Job Summary:
  • In this role, you will provide document management services, including but not limited to receiving, processing, distributing, retrieving, maintaining documents and records. You will assemble information to support project activities and assist in resolving issues and questions. Your attention to detail, accuracy, and support will help ensure documents are in the right place at the right time.
 
Work Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with Saturdays being Flexible
  • Busing from Workforce Hub (Winnemucca, NV) to Site (Orovada, NV) is required. Buses leave at 5:30 am and return to Hub at approximately 6:30 pm. Travel is unpaid.
 
 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide document and/or records management services in accordance with established policies, and procedures.
  • Provide project support for Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECMS) such as Aconex.
  • Interface on a routine basis with a variety of project personnel in resolution of questions, issues or actions.
  • Assist in the review of data entry accuracy for assigned work by performing daily, weekly, and monthly quality checks.
  • Assist project team members with questions or issues related to document numbering, work process, electronic/digital signatures, legibility, etc.
  • Assemble information needed to support project activities.
  • Produce reports using standard office automation tools such as MS Excel or Word.
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ recent document/records/information management experience. Experience in EPC industry is desirable.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  • Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems as well as develop and implement solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills to provide daily user support.
  • Ability to prioritize and flexibility to multi-task in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in challenging, dynamic work environment.
