Job Description

The Payroll Analyst for Latin America will be responsible for the accurate execution of the payroll process for one or more Latin American countries, ensuring compliance with local labor and tax laws, as well as the accuracy and timeliness of employee payments. They will work in coordination with internal teams and external payroll providers.
 
Major Responsibilities
Executing and supporting the monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payroll process for Latin American countries.
Collecting, validating, and uploading payroll incidents (new hires, terminations, salary changes, absences, overtime, bonuses, commissions, etc.).
Ensuring compliance with labor, tax, and social security laws in each country.
Coordinating with external payroll providers and tracking deliverables and SLAs.
Reviewing and reconciling payroll, tax, and social security reports; addressing employee inquiries related to pay stubs, payments, and taxes
Supporting internal and external payroll audits.
Maintain up-to-date payroll process documentation and procedures.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and accounting teams for monthly closing.
 
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
Upper-intermediate English (80%)
Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processes in Latin America.
Working knowledge of labor and tax legislation in at least one or more Latin American countries (e.g., Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Peru).
Experience working with external payroll providers.
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, basic formulas).
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Paylocity, etc.).
Experience in regional or multinational environments.
