Job Title: Salesforce Accounts Receivable (AR) Business Systems Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (1-2 days in the office based on business need)
Duration: 6+ Months (possible extension)

Day to day will revolve around support of bug cases as well as action items provided by senior team members for feature enhancement work
 
Must have skills

• Salesforce platform experience, demonstrable query language experience, tech service experience
• Teachable but value + - finance operations experience (in order of preference): Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Collections, Revenue Ops. System Administration, Coding Experience, Product Management or Analysis

 
Position Description:

• The AR Systems team is part of Treasury and Finance Operations (TFO) Technology which is responsible for all operational systems used by the TFO department. AR Systems manages maintenance and development of all systems and processes that participate in AR operations. The analysts will be responsible for the system support and management of prioritized development initiatives. Core operational responsibilities end user systems support, improving our operational infrastructure, and supporting key business and operational initiatives. Other responsibilities will include KPI/metric analysis and operational reporting to leadership.
• AR Operations is a customer impacting and complex space, and we are looking for someone who demonstrates motivation to learn new skills and technologies with a growth mindset. Having a keen eye for details, good communication skills and efficient time management are key to success.
• The role will report to the Manager, AR Systems. Salesforce.com is a fast-paced environment, the Senior Analyst must be able to hit the ground running, identify and fill gaps, manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities, while producing high-quality work.

 
Responsibilities:

• Support TFO operational needs including system bug triage, business process support, technical advisory, business requirements gathering, managing SOX controls, and system configuration for AR.
• Create and maintain technical and process documentation
• Support large company projects and other initiatives that impact AR Operations systems.
• Work closely with IT and other business units to execute new technology or functionality implementations.
• Facilitate and maintain partnerships with key system and business stakeholders
• Identify areas of improvement to increase process efficiencies and data integrity. Providing solutions in accordance with industry best practices and company policy.

 
Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors’ degree in computer science/engineering or information systems discipline or equivalent
• At least 3 years of professional Systems Analyst experience, or focus in system enhancements and product or program management
• Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Platform; specifically CRM, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
• Proficient in systems analysis, specifically data analysis, process modeling, and systems design and implementation methodologies
• Knowledge in system implementations, with a strong interest in new technologies.
• Hands-on experience in obtaining requirements from business users and subject matter experts, reviewing business priorities, and/or analyzing options & risks
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage ambiguity, and changing priorities while delivering excellent results. Specific focus on team collaboration and self organization using information systems
• Liaise effectively between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders
• Communicates in a clear, concise, and timely manner and operates effectively as a team player
• Functional understanding of SQL or other query language

 
Desired Skills/Experience:

• Masters degree in information technology or business administration
• Knowledge of agile methodology and product development models.
• Understanding of Quote to Cash function (credit, billing, collections, bad debt, AR) as well as revenue accounting
• Cloud CRM and ERP experience preferred
• Preferred knowledge of other systems like Mulesoft, Oracle R12
• Development language experience; Apex, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
