UX Designer – IT Products
Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Seattle Onsite hybrid
We’re looking for a UX Designer to help shape the customer experience for a flagship internal IT product—a desktop application that leverages large datasets, AI-driven support, and proactive notifications to help employees work more productively.
This product is in its early stages, offering a unique opportunity to think big, conduct meaningful user research, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to influence both strategy and execution.
Responsibilities

Rapidly and thoughtfully create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate interaction behaviors.

Partner with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements using empirical data, usability findings, market research, and proven user-centered design (UCD) principles.

Assess and optimize new and existing features by participating in usability testing and analyzing performance data.

Present design work to UX, product, and leadership teams for review and feedback.

Contribute to UI design standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stay current on trends in web applications, user experience design, and interface innovation.
Qualifications

3–6 years of industry experience delivering interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

Strong knowledge of usability principles, techniques, and web-based information architecture.

Proficiency with Figma.

A strong online portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions and relevant professional work.
Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.

Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.

Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash highly desired.
