***Local to Bay Area would be the preference. The HM is open to within CA.*** The role is Hybrid - typically onsite monthly 2 days a month

Client laptop will be provided. In case of major delays, supplier may provide a laptop loaner, or selected candidate may use personal device and get connected via Citrix/VDI.

Job Duties

• Is able to perform the job duties of a journey level Project Manager. Additional job duties include:
• Applies and adapts project management techniques;
• Project may not be well defined or require creativity or new approaches;
• Obtain commitment on detailed work plans including schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans;
• Obtain management approval as needed; ensure project documentation is maintained;
• Identify, analyze, and address project performance issues;
• Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables;
• Communicate project status to all stakeholders;
• Assess project risk and develop contingency plans; and
• Identify and communicate lessons learned and best practices.
• Determines that project objectives are achievable.
• Negotiates third party contracts, in support of other departments when appropriate.
• Budget tracking and reporting
• Project reporting (PlanisWare)
• Budget reporting and compliance(EPIC PMO, etc.)
• Timelines, critical path
• Meeting management (daily operating review, weekly operating review, monthly operating review)
• 1-3-10/Tactical implementation plan/Workstream mgmt.
• Superior ability to interface with and across supporting organizations

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience. Plus 8 years’ experience in project management, project controls, engineering and/or construction if clients/9 years if outside hire.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and maintenance desired for new entrants.
• Specific experience with client or similar electric utilities desired. Electric industry experiences desired
