We are seeking an experienced Sales Category Manager with 8+ years of experience across sales, product marketing, category management, or go-to-market (GTM) roles. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, framing complex problems, and developing strategic options to define effective go-to-channel strategies for new product launches—particularly within consumer electronics and hardware.
This role will own the end-to-end path-to-purchase, determining how, where, and why products are sold across markets, channels, and retail partners to ensure successful launches and strong market adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Category & Go-to-Channel Strategy

Define and execute comprehensive go-to-channel strategies for new hardware products.

Identify priority markets, channels, and retailers to maximize launch success and conversion.

Own the full path-to-purchase experience, including sales mechanisms and conversion support.
Product Launch Management

Lead end-to-end launch execution for new consumer hardware products.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure global launch readiness and on-time delivery.
Performance & Analytics

Develop, track, and analyze key performance metrics.

Use sales data, customer feedback, and market research to optimize category performance and inform decisions.
Stakeholder Management

Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and external partners.

Influence and align stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
Budget & Resource Management

Develop and manage launch budgets with a focus on ROI-driven decisions and effective resource allocation.
Market & Innovation Analysis

Monitor emerging trends and technologies in consumer hardware and wearables.

Identify opportunities for innovation, growth, and competitive differentiation.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in product management, category management, product marketing, sales, or GTM roles.

Strong background in consumer electronics.

Proven experience launching products and managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in consumer electronics.

Experience with 0–1 product launches, especially in consumer hardware, wearables, AR/VR/MR devices.

Startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment experience.
