Job Title: Project Program Manager I
Duration: 4 months (Possibility of extension)
Location: West Chester, OH (Remote with heavy travel 75%+)
Shift – Night Shift from (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM)
Candidates need to live close to a major airport for easier travel arrangements
 

• Responsibilities include design review, ordering shelving, overseeing installation of new shelving through third-party contractors, and ensuring all work meets permitted standards and food health safety standards.
• The project manager needs to be able to work in a live operational environment, making changes to buildings while they're still running without impacting customer or associate experience.
• The role requires strong communication skills, technological proficiency (including use of computers, email, Microsoft software, and potentially CAD or other specialized software), and the ability to travel continuously
• Managing third-party labor teams
• Executing a specific phasing plan
• Ensuring the phasing plan is completed entirely for each night
• Escalating any issues that arise during the night's work or forecasting potential issue
• Maintaining in-depth communication between site operations and senior leadership
• The role involves extensive travel within the continental United States, potentially anywhere from Seattle to Florida. (*Candidates need to live close to a major airport for easier travel arrangements)
• The work involves retrofitting existing grocery buildings, modifying them to meet new design requirements and customer needs
• The HM emphasized that this is a travel-intensive role with night work, requiring flexibility and the ability to work in various locations across the US.

Yrs Exp: 4-7 years of project management experience
 
Industry Preference:
Preference for candidates with construction, grocery, or major retail, major retail construction
 
Required Skills:

• Must live near a major airport/metropolitan city
• Read Composite / Drawings
• Understand / know how to use a computer, Microsoft products, smart sheets, BIM360, Bluebeam and CAD
• Strong communication and ability to make decision in high pressure situations.
• Experienced Projects before.
• Travel: Willingness to travel 75%
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

 
Preferred Skills:

• Financial Acumen: Experience with financial analysis is a plus.
• PMP certified
• Engineering or Construction Background

 
Must Have:

• Communication: "Clear and effective" communication skills
• Computer proficiency, Experience with email, Microsoft software, Ability to use Blue beam software, CAD
• Ability to travel (night work)
