This role is responsible for configuring, testing, staging, and shipping sophisticated telecommunication equipment. The position requires technical proficiency with Windows-based systems, networking equipment, and configuration documentation, while working in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Configure, test, stage, and ship telecommunication equipment
- Stage and configure servers, switches, and firewalls
- Set up and configure Windows computers, servers, and networking devices
- Read, follow, and enter data from build and configuration documentation
- Debug issues related to sales orders and assist in issue resolution
- Communicate and work cohesively with the Development Organization
- Provide daily progress updates to Team Lead and Management
- Rotate between various positions within the organization based on business needs
- Train to stage servers, workstations, and switches
- Develop effective working relationships with the team and Development Organization
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and status to Team Lead and Management
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience, or less experience with a technical degree or certification
- Technically proficient in basic computer skills
- Moderate Windows and Google computer skills
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret build and configuration documentation
- Quality- and safety-conscious with strong attention to detail
- Fast learner with ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Good attendance record and availability to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends and overtime
- Willingness to rotate between various positions based on business needs
- Experience with networking equipment (Cisco and HP preferred)
- Scripting knowledge
- Basic debugging of automation scripts
- Programming and debugging scripts to support staging operations (strong plus for future full-time consideration)
- Factory work environment
- Ability to sit and/or stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Occasional lifting of 15–20 lbs
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Safety-sensitive position
- Full drug panel drug test required
