Job Title - Body Robot SE Technician 
Duration – 11+ Months
Location - Onsite in Georgetown, KY. Mon-Thu from office and Friday from home.
 
About

• This individual is going to facilitate outputs of the Body PE Robot SE Team for New Model Project Introduction.
• This person will support the Body PE department and help in providing new model processes to the manufacturing facilities which meet all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Compliance, while continuously improving our processes.

 
Must Haves:
Technical:

• CATIA/DELMIA/ Experience in 3d environment
• Experience in automated / robotic process equipment
• Body shop production preparation and/or Body design experience
• MS Office

 
Soft Skills:

• Collaborating and communicating with different teams to resolve issues.
• Mechanical engineering degree would work great but not a must have.
• Experience : Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering OR Automation Maintenance Technician degree OR 5 years of equivalent technical work experience New model.
• OT : 30% - 50% at peak time or this amount of work can anytime of the year but the manager will notify beforehand.
• All PPE kit and steel toed boots will be reimbursed by Client.

 
Travel Requirement – International (5-15 % max)
 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering OR Automation Maintenance Technician degree OR 5 years of equivalent technical work experience New model
• Body shop production preparation and/or Body design experience - 1 years
• Project experience with automated / robotic process equipment – 1 year
• General vehicle body structure & processing knowledge
• Robot Offline Teach Program experience – 1 years
• (Ability to work weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown periods to support project urgencies.
• Ability to work 30% Overtime with peak periods of 50% or more including weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown periods to support SE Project work, or installations and trial activity.
• Ability to travel up to 15% to support work at machine vendors, Client Manufacturing And R&D locations.
• Ability to work evenings to support/attend meetings with overseas business partners.

 
Preferred

• HSD/Schools Graduation
• Advanced Engineering Degree 

• Experience in another manufacturing discipline (Stamping, Paint, Assembly, etc.) Y/N (textbox) 
• Body Shop Project / Mass Production Experience
• 1+ years in Body Simultaneous Engineering Experience
• 1+ years in Body PE Process Engineering group
