Location: Hybrid – Jersey City, NJ
Duration - 6 months contract
Work Schedule: 7.5-hour work week
About the Role
Structured Settlements (SS) team is seeking a Business Analyst FG / New Business Consultant – Structured Settlements to support new business sales activities and case execution. This role provides critical transactional, analytical, and operational support to the New Business sales team and external structured settlement consultants. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and communicates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Structured Settlements (SS) team is seeking a Business Analyst FG / New Business Consultant – Structured Settlements to support new business sales activities and case execution. This role provides critical transactional, analytical, and operational support to the New Business sales team and external structured settlement consultants. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and communicates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational and case execution support to the Structured Settlements sales team and SS consultants.
- Manage quote-related activity, including responding to routine case inquiries, facilitating rate lock-ins, processing quote revisions, and tracking quote activity per established pricing guidelines.
- Assist with pricing administration by supporting updates to published and daily rate quotes.
- Collaborate with Service and Operations teams throughout case finalization and contract distribution.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and self-audits to ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to internal standards.
- Use internal technology platforms and tools to support case tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
- Support special projects and other team initiatives, as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with a distribution network of brokers with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Experience supporting sales, operations, or client service teams in financial services, insurance, or related industries
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal business systems
- First Round: TEAMS interview (1 interviewer)
- Second Round: In-person interview (1 interviewer)
