Duration-12 Months
Shift- 3:30 PM- 12:00 PM
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal structure components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blueprints and production orders and the ability to operate various hand and power tools. Position Responsibilities:
• Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks
• Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
• Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products
• Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
• Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
• Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements
Required Skills:
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
• Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs
Preferred Skills:
• 1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ months experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
• Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data
• Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)
