Job Description
The EBS Site Leader will be responsible for launching and leading an Enterprise Business Services Center in Costa Rica. This role requires a strategic and operational leader with strong management, people leadership, and shared services experience. The Site Leader will build and manage a multidisciplinary team, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with Costa Rican regulations while aligning with global enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the standup of the EBS Costa Rica site from scratch, including planning, structuring, and launching the center in partnership with global EBS leadership.

Design and implement a scalable operating model and organizational structure to support business needs.

Attract, onboard, retain, and develop top talent through clear goals, coaching, and performance management.

Ensure the center operates as a high-performance unit and as an extension of US-based operations.

Act as a key liaison between global EBS leadership and Costa Rica operations.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and mediate conflicts among internal and external partners.

Support the definition and execution of EBS strategy aligned with corporate objectives.

Promote end-to-end (E2E) process integration and standardization to maximize operational efficiency.

Manage the Costa Rica EBS budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial transparency.

Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Ensure compliance with Costa Rican labor, tax, and commercial regulations.

Define, monitor, and report on performance metrics to track progress and drive improvement.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using agile methodologies and industry best practices.

Communicate the EBS vision, mission, and objectives to foster organizational alignment and engagement.

Education & Experience

University degree in Finance or Business Administration required.

Postgraduate specialization preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management or shared services environments.

Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience.

Experience in agriculture and commodity trading is a plus.

Familiarity with Costa Rica’s legal and regulatory environment.
