Job Title: Operations Analyst
Duration: 6 months Assignment
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: 40hours/week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform daily account reconciliations.
• Extract data from PeopleSoft.
• Sort, filter, and manipulate data to support recons.
• Manual matching before identifying variances.
• Review and compare reports across systems.
• Communicate with:
  • Internal departments/business units (most frequent).
  • Occasionally the field, depending on assigned accounts.
• Adhere strictly to deadlines.
• End-of-day expectation:
  • Accounts reconciled and forwarded to business units.

Team Structure & Coverage Expectations:

• Recent reorg split accounts into two sections:
  • Loans & Cash.
  • DDA (Deposits).
• This role will sit on the Deposit side of the house.
• Team includes several tenured associates, leading to higher PTO usage.
• Candidate will:
  • Have assigned accounts.
  • Be heavily used for PTO coverage.
  • Be trained on multiple accounts, not just their own.

Required Skills & Experience:
Accounting / Finance

• Clear understanding of debits and credits (critical).
• Accounting background is very helpful.
• Ideal experience level: ~2 years.

Excel

• Beginner to Intermediate Excel required
• Comfortable with:
  • Sorting and filtering.
  • Manual data manipulation.
  • Using existing pivot tables (not necessarily creating them).
• One credit card account recently began using a pivot table due to gift card refunds.
• Strong Excel skills are important due to:
  • Manual reconciliation work.
  • Limited automation today.
  • Heavy report comparison.

Systems:

• PeopleSoft experience is a plus
• Exposure to multiple systems helpful, as some accounts have unique platforms

• Deadline-driven.
• Strong follow-up skills.
• Pleasant, easy-to-work-with personality.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment.
