Job Title: Identity and Access Management Technician
Location: Columbia, SC (Partial Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and as needed. )
Duration: 12 months

Job Summary:

Duties:
  • Under direct supervision, assist in and become proficient in the responsibilities of identity management for user accounts and protection of system resources. Provide administration support for enterprise system access. Setup, maintain and terminate system access on multiple security architectures and within multiple secure applications.  Ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • 50% Learn to create, modify, delete, maintain, and monitor system access identification for corporate email system, LAN, enterprise server (RACF) applications and subsystems, remote access, web browsing, and/or application level security databases. Assist in the review, verification, and implementation of security requests.
  • 30% Perform system access reviews to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and standards. Participate in related project work as needed such as documentation of work, process implementations and procedure updating.
  • 20% Create and/or review data access reports to research service requests or issues. May also be asked to review reports to ensure compliance with corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

Day to Day:

The Access Provisioning Specialist is responsible for managing and executing identity and access management (IAM) processes to ensure secure and efficient user access to critical systems and applications. This role supports organizational compliance, security standards, and operational needs by provisioning and maintaining access across multiple platforms.

Team Info: : Identity and Access Management - Mainframe - 10 team members

Work Environment: Work Environment: Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Required Work Experience: Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree

Minimum Required Software and Other Tools: Standard office equipment.
 
Required EDU: Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree

Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to gain knowledge of IT security systems and concepts, LAN access control systems, enterprise server and LAN applications and subsystems, and user administration on single platforms. Ability to acquire knowledge for multiple platforms. Able to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies. Able to acquire knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems as they relate to customer and governmental regulatory requirements.

REQUIRED technologies: Applications – CM8 / WMS / RULES

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT security systems and concepts. Intermediate knowledge of LAN access control systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of LAN auditing and access management tools and scripts.
  • Intermediate knowledge of enterprise server and LAN applications and subsystems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems. Able to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies. In-depth knowledge of IS customer departments and their functions. In-depth knowledge of IS requirements for governmental programs and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate's IS policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
