About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Operations Lead – Operational Readiness to help build and scale a critical operational readiness function. This role is responsible for ensuring applications, platforms, and programs are fully prepared for production launch and long-term support.
You will work embedded with project and program teams from inception through go-live, acting as the connective tissue across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to prevent operational gaps and surprises.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Operations Lead – Operational Readiness to help build and scale a critical operational readiness function. This role is responsible for ensuring applications, platforms, and programs are fully prepared for production launch and long-term support.
You will work embedded with project and program teams from inception through go-live, acting as the connective tissue across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to prevent operational gaps and surprises.
- Lead operational readiness activities across multiple projects and business units
- Partner with project, engineering, and operations teams throughout the full SDLC
- Ensure readiness criteria are met prior to production release, including:
- Documentation completeness
- Change management alignment
- Operational handoff and support readiness
- Enforce adherence to SDLC, change, and incident management processes
- Create and maintain:
- Runbooks
- Standards and procedures
- Turnover and handoff documentation
- Use ServiceNow as the central system of record to:
- Track readiness tasks
- Manage dependencies
- Maintain clear audit trails
- Identify and remediate gaps in long-running production applications
- Act as a cross-team liaison to ensure all downstream stakeholders (e.g., operations, support, call centers) are informed and prepared
- Proactively surface risks and drive resolution prior to go-live
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Operational readiness
- Technical operations
- Program or project management
- Engineering or development with strong operational exposure
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including:
- Incident and change management
- Operational readiness workflows
- Visual task boards and audit tracking
- Deep understanding of:
- Application lifecycle management
- Operational handoffs and production support models
- Cross-functional project delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and handle pushback constructively
- Experience in banking or regulated environments (nice to have, not required)
- Familiarity with:
- Confluence
- JIRA
- Enterprise documentation standards
- Background in environments with audit, compliance, or regulatory oversight
- Personable, confident, and collaborative
- Strong attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
- Able to influence without authority
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
- Escalates thoughtfully and only when necessary
- Fully remote role (within the U.S.)
- Flexible time zones

- Estimated base salary range: $150,000
