Job Description
Job Title: Angular/Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Austin TX 5 days on site (after ramp can move to 4)
Duration: 12 months (opportunity to extend)
Job Description:
• Lead technical teams in delivering highly scalable and reliable applications that meet business budgets/timelines while ensuring alignment to strategic technology vision.
• Deliver a best-in-class authentication solution for a high-volume transaction system handling peak volumes during market open.
• Partner with Solution Architects and Platform Architects to ensure implementations meet the solution architecture and design.
• Understand, advocate and augment the platform principles, guidelines and standards
• Strong advocate for high software agility and quality standards, executing within our culture of engineering excellence
• Strong advocate for agile practices to increase delivery agility.
• Coach and support creative, passionate teammates across multiple teams.
• Create, maintain and ensure adherence to development, coding, testing and automation standards
Skills:
Languages:
1. Essential: JavaScript and any related frameworks, Preferred: Angular
2. Essential: Java
3. Nice to have: .Net C#
Development Skills
1. Essential: Web Applications, preferred: Consumer Facing Web Applications
2. Essential: Spring Cloud or similar Gateways
3. Essential: REST APIs
4. Essential: Testing Automation Frameworks like JUnit, Karma, Ruby, Cucumber, Java BDD, Accessibility Testing
5. Essential: MongoDB, Preferred: PostgreSQL
Operational Skills:
1. Essential: Any of the logging technologies, log analysis and reporting, Preferred: Splunk, BigQuery / Grafana
2. Essential: CI/CD Technologies, Preferred: GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Sonar, Blackduck, Veracode
3. Essential: Containerized deployment, preferred: Experience in deploying to cloud platforms like GCP, or AWS
3. Nice to have: Performance Testing and Engineering
Soft Skills
1. Demonstrate curiosity
2. Proven software design experiences for building applications that can handle transactions in the upward range of thousand per second while making the solution available in 99.999% of time that integrates with multiple internal and external applications.
3. Proven experiences in solving problems in high stress and time critical situations like production issues.
Domain Skills
1. Essential: Understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth, SAML etc. Preferred: Developed Identity and Authentication solutions to be used by other applications.
2. Nice to have: Understanding of NIST Identity Standards
Education/ Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Interview Process:
Three round processes: -
1. An engineer will conduct an initial interview to assess the candidate's stated skills and experiences in the resume.
2. An Engineering Manager will interview the candidate to determine if they are a good fit for the team.
3. An interview panel will perform a more in-depth technical evaluation.
Once a candidate is selected, a Director will speak with them before we extend an offer.
