Title: Access Guide - Customer Service Rep
Duration of Assignment: CTH, 13 weeks, with a possibility for an extension, no guarantees
Location: Alhambra, CA 91803 – Remote is acceptable for Local candidate ONLY** (Occasional onsite requirements may include HR orientation, equipment pickup, pre-employment health appointments, annual team events, go-lives, or other manager-assigned instances. )
Work Arrangement: Fully remote after the first day onsite.
Training: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (onsite for the first day).
Interview Process: Two-step interview process, 2 Video/ Teams interview
Dress code: Business Casual
Shift Schedule: Shifts can vary between 6:45 AM and 11:00 PM. The most common shifts are:
  1. 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  2. 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  3. 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
    (Weekend and holiday shifts follow the same structure. If scheduled on a weekend, employees will receive two days off during the week.)
Note:
  • The most important point to highlight in these interviews is that this role is a varied shift position; candidates must be available to work any shift, Sunday through Saturday, 24/7, including holidays, with rotating schedules. It’s critical that they fully understand how the scheduling works.
  • Equipment shipping is NOT available for candidates; the candidate must be able to pick up equipment on site on the first day.
Position Details:
  • The Patient Access Liaison I may schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments as needed.
  • This is an entry-level role that requires answering 75+ calls per day and managing after-hours calls to providers.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for access to academic medical centers and the Health Sciences Campus.
  • Answers, screens, and directs incoming and outgoing telephone calls, electronic messages, and other web-based communications using a call management system.
  • Responds to basic inquiries and refers other inquiries to appropriate medical personnel.
  • Contacts and distributes messages to medical personnel using a variety of electronic methods, including text, voice, and email systems.
