Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Job Description
The File Digitization Specialist will be responsible for converting the employee file room’s physical records into digital format within SharePoint. This role includes scanning, indexing, labeling, and organizing confidential employee files with a high level of accuracy. The position requires consistent physical activity, including bending, reaching, and lifting boxes weighing 15 lbs or more.
The specialist will ensure compliance with record retention policies, maintain an organized workflow, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling sensitive HR documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Digitize physical employee files by scanning, indexing, labeling, and uploading documents into SharePoint.

Organize and maintain both physical and digital file systems.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with established record retention and HR confidentiality policies.

Lift, move, and manage boxes of documents (15 lbs or more).

Maintain efficient workflow processes and meet project deadlines.

Collaborate with team members to support file room organization and digitization efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with SharePoint for document storage and organization.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience digitizing files, including scanning and labeling physical documentation.

Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting 15 lbs or more.

Knowledge of record retention policies and handling confidential HR files.

Previous experience organizing, scanning, and labeling files.
