Job Title: Project Manager II
Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months 

Primary Focus of the Role

  • Support the onboarding and integration of new payment partners globally.
  • Provide operational support for payment services, including credit card, online banking, and e-wallet payment methods.
  • Assist with production issues by coordinating with partners or internal teams as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful partner support and issue resolution.

Top Requirements : 

  • Project Management (PM) experience
  • Ability to manage end-to-end service delivery across the full project lifecycle
  •  Strong understanding of the payment industry.
Candidate Background & Experience:
  • 4–5 years of Project Management experience ideally.
  • Experience from the merchant side implementing payment services is highly preferred.
  • Technical PM skills are a strong plus; candidates should be comfortable understanding technical concepts related to payment integrations.

Global Support Expectations: 

  • The role may require schedule flexibility to collaborate with teams in APAC and EMEA.
  • Typical hours are 9–5, but may be necessary depending on project needs.early morning or late meetings
Interview Process
  • Expect a panel interview, likely 1 round, possibly 2.
  • Preferred format is in-person, based in Cupertino.
Job Description
We seek an experienced Business Operations Project Manager to support payment operations for Client’s services platform including: App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, TV, Movies, etc. Payment methods we oversee include: Apple Pay, credit/debit cards, digital wallets, direct online banking, gift card and store credit, etc. This is a fast growing environment in support of a broad range of products, partners and geographies.
In this role, you will be responsible for areas including, but not limited to:
  • Providing day to day operational support including:Communications to both internal cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Tracking test and production issues and collaborating with internal engineering teams as well as external partners to analyze, triage and resolve the issue
  • Managing end-to-end testing execution for payments projects and providing regular progress status reporting to business leadership
  • Supporting other operational PMs on the team with program management and project documentation
  • Monitoring partner performance in the production environment and providing alerting & status reporting to business teams
  • You must also have high level understanding ad experience with common transactional, finance and reporting flows & systems, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of a complex organization.\
Key Qualifications:
  • Comprehension of how credit card, digital wallets and other alternative payment types function and the nuances of each
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance controls used in the payments industry
  • Self-motivated and dedicated, with demonstrated analytical, creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements
  • Strong and exacting attention to details
  • Experience with operations support and/or project management
