Job Title:  Test Technician (Electrical, RF, and Digital)
Location: Santa Clara CA 95051
Duration: 12  Months 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Test Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with electrical, RF, and digital test equipment, as well as antennas. This role involves building and maintaining test racks, creating test setups, executing tests, and supporting various product validation activities. The technician will work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality test execution in a fast-paced R&D environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Rack & Setup Build: Assemble and maintain test racks, fixtures, and setups for electrical, RF, digital, and antenna testing.

  • Test Execution: Perform tests on electrical and RF components; evaluate antenna performance; analyze data and troubleshoot issues in real time.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Record test results accurately, prepare reports, and provide technical feedback for performance improvements.

  • Lab Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment while following all safety procedures and regulations.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to test setups, hardware components, and software tools to ensure seamless operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an R&D lab performing light mechanical/electrical assembly and testing.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with hand tools for assembling mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Skilled in operating oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and other test instruments.

  • Attention To Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in assembly, test setup, execution, and documentation.

  • Independent Work Style: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and test setup issues.
