Location: Richardson, TX – Onsite during training, then Hybrid (3–4 days/week at Manager’s discretion)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some flexibility available)

About the Role
- This role supports critical Merger & Acquisition (M&A) initiatives by leading the discovery, design, and implementation of enterprise network infrastructure.
- The Systems Senior Engineer (Network) will play a key role in modernizing and integrating network environments using standards.
- You will work both independently and within a larger project team to deliver secure, scalable, and fully documented network transitions.
- This is a highly hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto network technologies, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to lead technical projects from assessment through deployment.
- Lead network discovery, planning, design, documentation, and implementation for M&A initiatives
- Assess and document current-state network environments
- Design future-state network architecture aligned with standards
- Plan and coordinate technical resources for network cutovers and transitions
- Execute active network equipment replacements for modernization and acquisitions
- Configure, test, validate, and deploy enterprise network platforms
- Ensure smooth transition to new network infrastructure with minimal business disruption
- Work both independently and cross-functionally within large project teams
- Identify and resolve complex network issues
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Network experience with CISCO, Palo Alto
- Experience with M&A
- Documentation skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but will take extra experience
- 4-6 years relevant experience
- Leadership skills to lead the project
- Primary technical platform experience should include Cisco routers and switches, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco and Juniper wireless, Palo Alto firewall, Cisco Meraki, and various data circuit connectivity. This experience should include configuring, testing, and validating each platform during deployment.
- Technical certifications in the specialty area, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or network-centric competencies.
- Experience working with DHS
- Experience supporting Design & Construction (D&C) initiatives
- Cloud networking experience
