Location: Columbia, SC 29203
Work Environment: Remote (after 3-week onsite training, based on performance)
Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm (OT as needed)
Contract length: 3 months assignment with possible conversion

Team Info: Our overview is to process enrollments, email inquiries and terminations received from group submissions. We ensure all is processed correctly and timely from beginning to end. We want every member to have smooth experience from enrolling to using the benefits

Required EDU: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Certification or licenses:NA
Required Software and Tools (Hands on experience required): Microsoft Office
Soft skills: NA
Nice to have/Preferred skills:1 year-of customer service, administrative/clerical support, and/or membership/billing/accounts experience.

Job Summary:
Duties/About the role:
- Responsible for daily workflow activities to include the following membership/enrollment activities: processing of applications for new enrollments, terminations/cancellations, changes, renewals, and database updates.
- 50% Receives and logs subscriber and member enrollment applications to the system. Processes/keys applications including new enrollments, terminations/cancellations, changes, and renewals. Updates all electronic enrollment files. Works edit/error reports generated from membership transactions.
- 30% Works with multiple operational areas to ensure relevant/appropriate group structure, status, benefits, and/or billing. May prepare and issue contracts, benefit books, and standard/custom ID cards.
- 10% Responds to and resolves customer inquiries. Contacts plan administrators and internal and external customers to resolve issues/problems.
- 10% Participates in special projects as assigned related to enrollment, billing and reconciliations.
