Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Work Location: 11800 Weston Parkway Cary NC USA 27513
Assignment Duration: 4 months (Potention of conversion)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (10am-7pm or 11am-8pm)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary: Pharmacy technician not required but a plus
Key Responsibilities:
• Recognize and effectively communicate about insurance types and when each type would be utilized
• Enter all communication and documentation in the our organization’s MIS
• Assist with projects, such as yearly reverification
• Communicate with patients to gather appropriate insurance information
• Triage prescriptions to preferred pharmacies or HUB providers when our organization is unable to serve the patient
• Appropriately process pharmacy claims in our organization’s MIS
• Recognize and understand pharmacy claim responses
• Manage inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and payors regarding patient updates and services provided
• Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) to clinicians
• Manage and reply to internal written communications and requests received via chat or email
• Other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
