Job Title: Project Coordinator II - Delivery Lead

Description
  • The Project Coordinator – Delivery Lead is responsible for governing the deployment of all projects across all products, related to the [Business Domain].
  • This role is responsible for ensuring that all required project assets are in place and operational before project commencement.
  • This includes hardware, software, and onboarding of external service provider personnel or contractors.
  • Working under minimal supervision, the Delivery Lead will collaborate with internal partners and external service providers to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of service under Service Level Agreements.
  • Working collaboratively and developing strong partnerships with IT Line of Business groups, the Business Consultants, Solution Architects, Business Relationship Managers, and Technical Leads for the [Business Domain] are essential in the delivery of strong results.
Responsibilities
  • Provide governance and oversight for all project execution within the [Business Domain] for all new implementations or modifications through production service transition to ensure service and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with external service providers, system integrators, or internal resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Perform continuous cost optimization of project delivery services.
  • Ensure that all project assets are ready for use by the project team, including onboarding of personnel, hardware and infrastructure, environmental readiness, software licensing, etc
  • Participate in the Long-Range Planning process.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, gain efficiencies, and improve financial performance across project delivery or all projects.
  • Collaborate with the service management organization to improve service transition, change, release, and deployment into production processes.
  • Analyze SLAs and KPI to identify trends and partner with PS leadership to drive improvement.
  • Provide Project Management and Service Delivery Expertise and guidance to service providers, system integrators, and/or internal resources as needed to ensure [Business Domain] stakeholders' projects are delivered as planned.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate, Divisional, and IT Policies and procedures.
Role
  • Work with the IT Line of Business units and other teams to monitor project delivery performance against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct frequent and formal meetings with IT Line of Business units to review/discuss overall application development project status.
  • Continually improve working relationships with IT LOB units and service providers.
  • Work with internal and external services vendors to ensure superior service delivery.
  • Ensure that the service provider is adhering to development standards and/or review and assist with the approval of new/additional development standards that the service provider proposes.
  • Ensure documentation is captured in the document management system; publicize deliverable location to the organization as necessary.
  • Participate in project estimating / planning processes.
  • Monitor resource usage allocation for projects being delivered via the external service provider's Project Delivery services methodology.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Typically requires 8 or more years of technology experience and related management experience in multiple business and technical processes.
  • Requires understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Requires knowledge of outsourcing methodologies and operating models, and working with professional services firms.
  • Requires experience overseeing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of business and technology trends.
  • Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills.
