Position Title: Quality Complaints Senior Associate
Work Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91320
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
 
Work Schedule: M-F 9-5:30 (30 minute lunch) Must be flexible in terms of schedule.
Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
 
Position Summary: Lab Based Job Bachelor's degree. Nice to have: documentation practices, GMP, previous lab experience.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, clean, and evaluate product complaint return samples
• Interface with various sites and business partners
• Manage complaint return sample inventory
• Author technical assessment reports
• Receive, clean, and evaluate product complaint return samples. Our main responsibility is to perform inspections on complaint samples including photographs, x-ray evaluations, and written inspections.
• Other responsibilities include filing the samples in storage, processing transfers of samples between sites/departments, sanitizing and prepping Biomailers for shipment to patients, monitoring consumable inventory Work may include lifting 30lbs on occasion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Typically, 2 plus years of related quality assurance or manufacturing experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Evaluate documentation and operation according to company guidelines.
• Be self-motivated, attentive to details and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Basic statistical mathematical skills including the ability to trend data.
• Basic project management skills.
• Independently understand, follow and implement instructions.
• Written and verbal communication & collaboration skills.
• Strong word processing, database and spreadsheet application skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects or assignments.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Role may involve periods of prolonged sitting and standing.
• Role may involve lifting boxes and storage containers of up to 50lbs.
• Role may involve transporting samples to different buildings across campus.
• This role will be excluded from Winter and Summer shutdowns and is expected to work during shutdowns excluding federal holidays.
