Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Tue–Wed–Thu)
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Logistics Specialist will support the continued growth of Global Supply Chain Logistics operations by coordinating international and domestic shipments, managing transportation activities, and ensuring timely delivery of commercial products. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, freight forwarders, cold chain partners, and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs). The Specialist will ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all logistics processes while supporting global manufacturing and distribution needs.

This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, freight forwarders, cold chain partners, and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs). The Specialist will ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all logistics processes while supporting global manufacturing and distribution needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate multi-modal domestic and international shipments and prepare all required shipping documentation using SAP ERP.
- Select batches for shipment to assigned sites and monitor inventory re-order points with drug product CMOs.
- Identify shipment discrepancies and initiate resolution with Quality teams.
- Analyze routine and non-routine shipment data, including customs invoice accuracy, import documentation, delivery tracking, and alignment with the production schedule and sales forecasts.
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure materials meet delivery and manufacturing timelines.
- Initiate or process routine inventory replenishment changes such as shipments, invoicing, and stock movement.
- Perform timely SAP transactions to accurately reflect changes in inventory or shipment status.
- Track progress with department supervisors, adjust logistics schedules, and communicate updates based on production changes, product availability, or impact factors.
- Participate in meetings with logistics teams and cross-functional partners to review KPIs, operational metrics, challenges, and future needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and collaborate effectively on non-routine issues.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with the ability to identify deviations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of:
- Supply Chain Logistics
- Transportation
- Trade Compliance / Customs / FDA regulations
- SAP ERP experience.
- Knowledge of cold chain and pharmaceutical shipping requirements.
