About the Role: Job Description:
- Client’s is hiring a Technical Program Manager in the Net Zero program. This position will be focused on supporting the modeling of full life cycle environmental impacts and product carbon footprints of hardware, and contributing quality improvements to our existing calculations.
- The ideal candidate has strong life cycle assessment knowledge, experience in technology supply chains, and is passionate about leveraging data and tools to drive business strategy.
About the Team:
- The Net Zero program team at Client is dedicated to driving sustainability by modeling and reducing the environmental impact of Client’s hardware products. The team collaborates across engineering, procurement, and strategy to ensure robust, data-driven decisions that support Client’s corporate environmental goals. Team members are passionate about leveraging data and technology to make a measurable difference in sustainability.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage full life cycle assessments and product carbon footprint analyses.
- Collaborate with suppliers, consultants, sourcing, and engineering teams to gather and analyze data.
- Maintain and improve data quality in internal databases.
- Run scenario analyses to assess environmental impacts of supply chain and design changes.
- Support ad-hoc requests and embed LCA/PCF data into business strategy and reporting.

- Building and managing LCAs/PCFs for data center and consumer hardware.
- Improving methodologies for environmental impact modeling.
- Integrating LCA/PCF data into internal tools and external reporting.
Minimum Years of Experience:
Must-Have Skills:
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of life cycle modeling, sustainable supply chains, and greenhouse gas accounting.
- Practical experience using LCA software (such as GaBi, SimaPro, IMEC, or similar tools).
- Data Analysis & Visualization
- Advanced skills in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation.
- Experience with data management, SQL, and critical thinking for complex data sets.
- Technology Supply Chain Experience
- Strong understanding of electronics and technology supply chains.
- Ability to select and utilize LCA/PCF data sets specifically for electronic components.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Advanced Degree
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, engineering, or data science.
- Presentation & Communication Skills
- Experience effectively presenting data and analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Industry Awareness
- Current knowledge of the latest research, industry trends, and methodologies related to LCA and product carbon foot printing.
- Previous experience at Meta is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in data analysis and visualization emphasis such as in computer science, social sciences, physical sciences, math, engineering, statistics, and/or sustainability focused degree 5 - 8 years of work experience and subject matter expertise in life cycle modeling sustainable supply chains, greenhouse gas accounting, or experience in GaBi (preferred), SimaPro, IMEC, or other life cycle assessment software.
- Understanding of LCA/PCF data sets and selection of best data sets to model electronic components
- Experience with electronics and technology supply chains Strong data analysis, visualization and interpretation skills, with demonstrated ability to self-manage complex program delivery Excellent oral and written communication Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with data management, SQL, critical analysis skills, and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in related field, strongly preferred Experience presenting data and analytics insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage life cycle assessments (LCA)/product carbon footprints (PCFs) of data center and consumer hardware
- Review and improve upon our approach for conducting LCAs/PCFs in alignment with our corporate environmental accounting strategy
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, LCA consultants, sourcing (procurement), technical program managers, and engineers, to collect necessary product and value chain information for life cycle analyses
- Research, analyze, visualize and explain LCA/PCF results and understand emission hotspots
- Maintain and onboard new data into our database, ensuring consistency, robust QA/QC, and identifying opportunities for data quality and coverage improvements
- Run various scenarios to understand the environmental impact of supply chain and design changes
- Support ad-hoc LCA/PCF-related inquiries, analyses, and requests
- Work with strategy leads to embed LCA/PCF data into internal tools, internal communications, and external reporting
- Monitor the latest research, industry trends, and methodologies of life cycle assessments and product carbon footprints
Degrees/Certifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or sustainability-related field is required.
- A master’s degree and certifications such as PMP or specialized LCA training are preferred / environmental management

- Data will be analyzed to identify trends and hot spots, enabling targeted improvements and informed decision-making.
