This role will be instrumental in supporting the technical upgrade and migration of the Lexus Nexus (FisSoft) Continuity platform from version 5 to version 6. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on technical expertise and a proven track record in high-availability, mission-critical environments.Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute the technical upgrade and migration of the Lexus Nexus (FisSoft) platform.- Focus on hands-on implementation, integration development, and automation—this is not a project planning or business analyst role.- Collaborate closely with internal technology teams (onshore and offshore), business stakeholders, and vendors.- Contribute to system architecture enhancements, code deployment, and unit testing.- Ensure the reliability and availability of Tier 0, mission-critical systems supporting trading, cash movement, and wire operations.- Participate in occasional weekend implementations (primarily Saturdays).Required Qualifications- Strong hands-on technical expertise in high-availability systems (Tier 0, 24/7 uptime).- Experience with Lexus Nexus / FisSoft Continuity (ideally versions 5 and 6).- Familiarity with middleware technologies such as MQ (other middleware acceptable).- Microsoft server experience.- Integration development and automation, design, and architecture experience.- Experience compiling, deploying, and unit testing technical solutions.- Must be able to work onsite in Chicago 3 days per week from Day 1 (remote only during initial relocation, if necessary).- Candidates with only functional or planning backgrounds will not be considered.Preferred Qualifications- Cloud or SaaS experience.- Disaster recovery and resiliency background.- Strong candidates without direct Lexus Nexus experience may be considered if their technical skills are closely aligned.Team & Reporting- Reports to: Brett (Hiring Manager)- Team: Mix of onshore and offshore members- No regular early-morning or late-night calls; occasional overlap may occur.Interview Process- Two rounds (both virtual): - Round 1: Interview with Brett - Round 2: Technical panelBenefits & Culture- ACA-compliant health benefits, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, voluntary life, and hospital indemnity insurances.- Additional benefits: commuter benefits, 401K plan with matching, referral bonus program, paid/unpaid leave, and paid sick leave where required by law.- Spectraforce is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.Additional Information- The manager has secured a higher bill rate to attract top technical talent in a competitive market.- Both “Lexus Nexus” and “FisSoft” may appear on resumes; both are acceptable.
