Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage 15–25 high-value client relationships, providing ongoing advisory support and strategic financial guidance.
- Financial Advisory & Optimization: Deliver customized advisory services including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and scenario planning to enhance client wealth and business performance.
- Accounting Services Oversight: Manage outsourced accounting functions (bookkeeping, payroll, management reporting) ensuring accuracy and efficiency without audit involvement.
- Wealth Integration: Collaborate with wealth planners and estate advisors to incorporate accounting insights into broader financial strategies.
- Process Improvement & Tools: Lead initiatives to streamline client financial processes using technology (ERP implementations, automated reporting, BI tools).
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior advisory staff, encourage knowledge sharing on financial trends, and contribute to internal tool development.
- Business Development: Support firm growth by leveraging client networks, developing advisory proposals, and presenting on financial strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education & Credentials: CPA designation (CA/CPA) required; CFP, CMA, or other advisory certifications are assets.
- Experience: 6–10 years in public accounting advisory or consulting; strong record of working with private clients/family offices.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel (functions, VBA), BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), CRM platforms, ERP systems; financial modeling software (Adaptive Insights, QuickBooks, Xero) preferred.
- Core Competencies: Analytical skills, storytelling to simplify complex financial data, interpersonal abilities, confidentiality, proactive client-focused approach.
