Position Overview
  • The primary objective of this role is to lead the API Framework and Control Plane SCRUM team, overseeing the execution environment for all API modules and providing developers with an abstracted cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities also include managing clients regions and tenants, overseeing clients modules, and enabling the safe, automated continuous delivery of these modules.
  • The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-directed, and experienced professional who is a program or project manager for a company that develops enterprise-class software applications. Having strong management skills with a proven track record of providing direction and leadership to others are essential. The candidate must be a highly effective communicator and problem-solver. The candidate must also possess demonstrated skills in leading and managing change; should possess the ability to pull together ideas and suggestions, shape them into a vision, and then implement it as a part of their delivery plan.

Accountabilities:
  • To lead the client Analytics team which is a Cloud based solution utilizing AWS technology that provides customizable data visualizations for key metrics with integrated filters and search.  The client Analytics application allows quick access to data with client provided starter kits, that provide insights for entire health systems or individual facilities. Provides the ability for customers to make a copy of live boards/pinboards and save with updated parameters, along with providing access to curated data sets for data exploration and customization.
 
Technical Expertise:
  • Tooling: Proficiency in Jira tools
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements related to product development.
 
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address issues in documentation and validation processes.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to assess complex situations, develop effective remediation plans, and implement solutions that enhance compliance and efficiency.
 
Communication and Collaboration
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and cooperative work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, quality assurance, and IT, to ensure that remediation efforts are aligned with the company's objectives.
 
 
 
Process:
  • Implement and manage projects using SAFe principles where applicable.
  • Uses project management tools to manage large and complex projects or programs.
  • Defines and manages scope, time, and resources.
  • Facilitates identification of project or program risks/issues, develops, and assigns responsibility for mitigation/resolution actions; manages mitigation plan.
  • Refines project management methodologies for quality and project or program risk management.
  • Synthesizes critical information and communicates business implications to stakeholders.
  • Consults with the senior management team and non-technology organization personnel.
  • Has depth and breadth of experience in project management; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities.
  • Applies in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and non-standard situations.
  • Provides SCRUM Master Leadership in the form of coaching, mentoring, and/or training SCRUM teams
  • Acts as a key contributor in a complex environment.

General Qualifications
  • This position will engage with business stakeholders to validate tools in which we use to manage and deliver clinically oriented applications and services.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Acts as a key contributor in a complex environment.
  • 6+ years working in a government-regulated, healthcare/medical device environment (working in compliance with 21 CFR 820.30, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485.)
  • Experience in highly government-regulated, healthcare/medical device environment.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams toward operational objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple project deployments and integrations.
  • Aptitude to contribute to strategic goal setting for department/business unit.
  • Ability to manage conflict.
  • Effective writing, speaking, and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to manage others and set priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience working with matrixed resources within assigned programs and/or projects.
  • Solid understanding of software development work, practices, and culture.
  • Experience in delivering products within an end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Practical knowledge and application of Agile software development principles.
  • Drives the consistency of departmental Agile practices.
  • Aptitude to contribute to strategic goal setting for department/business unit.
  • Understanding of and experience in stage-gate or similar innovation management process.
  • Skilled in meeting facilitation, action item traction and follow up.
  • Ability to use Jira
  • Ability to use Confluence
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.
  • Certified SCRUM Master Certification (CSM) desired.
