Job Title: Senior Experience Designer/UX Designer
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6+ months (high possibility of extension)

About the Role
Client is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to craft intuitive, accessible, and elegant digital experiences for company website. This role is ideal for a well-rounded designer who excels in execution and collaboration, bringing exceptional visual craft and problem-solving skills. You will own experiences end-to-end on a key customer-facing platform, with significant visibility and opportunity to shape both strategy and design implementation.

What You'll Do

• Own experiences end-to-end, shaping vision, goals, and visual execution in partnership with product and development teams
• Help define problems and product strategy through discovery, competitive analysis, workshops, insights synthesis, and design direction
• Produce high-quality deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished final designs for handoff to development
• Apply human-centered design principles to solve customer problems with clarity and empathy
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and responsiveness across devices and browsers
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively present and defend design decisions
• Contribute to and help evolve the design system and shared patterns

About You

• You're a thoughtful and detail-oriented designer who enjoys solving complex problems through elegant design. You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, work autonomously with minimal supervision, and care deeply about design craft and its impact on users.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design
• Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and/or mobile design work with emphasis on full-scale marketing or web design
• Enterprise experience and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Excellent presentation, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with or at agencies preferred
• Proficiency in Figma, AEM/CMS experience is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with design systems and visual craft
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
• Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams
