Job Title: Power Product Design Engineering Program Manager (EPM)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid work Schedule, onsite Tuesday - Thursday, Remote Mondays and Fridays)
Duration: 2.5 months

We’re seeking a Power Product Design Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the design and development of advanced power adapters and custom components. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class power solutions that meet client’s high standards for performance, quality, and design.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams—including mechanical, system, tooling, and validation engineers—to drive program execution from concept to mass production.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring strong communication between internal teams and external vendors.
  • Plan and manage prototype builds, DOE/trials, and factory operations.
  • Identify technical challenges and drive resolution through collaboration and clear decision-making.
  • Define program risks and develop mitigation strategies across technology teams.
  • Communicate key milestones, risks, and program updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Manage development budgets, purchase orders, and change requests.
  • Oversee design reviews and validation schedules for custom components.
  • Coordinate system integration to ensure seamless compatibility and performance.
  • Support regulatory and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regional standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics.
  • 3+ years of project management experience driving complex hardware development programs.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid development cycles.
  • Highly curious, proactive, and adaptable approach to problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience working with vendors and contract manufacturing partners to plan and execute engineering builds.
  • Proven success managing diverse, cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
  • Experience managing both strategic initiatives and ambiguous, open-ended technical challenges.
