Job Description

Job Title: Inventory Control Mover
Location: East Durham, NY, 12423
Duration: 9 Months
Shift: A Shift – 12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily stock transaction reconciliations to maintain targeted inventory accuracy.
  • Check near-expiry materials, delivery orders, and status of goods in Quarantine and the Manufacturing-Pro system.
  • Replenish materials when inventory levels are low.
  • Use ERP systems to move inventory and control stock.
  • Track warehouse equipment to ensure compliance and proper placement.
  • Ensure only clean, properly labeled materials are issued to production, and dispose of rejected materials according to procedure.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across departmental processes and systems.
  • Supply materials in correct quantities and quality to production teams.
  • Perform timely data entry for receipt, inspection, and issuance of raw and packaging materials.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and other warehouse equipment.
  • Learn and develop proficiency in the SAP system.
  • Continue developing skills to progress to Level 2 Inventory Control Mover.
  • Maintain strong safety, conduct, and attendance performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations, including site, quality, and EHS SOPs.
  • Demonstrate company core values and treat all colleagues with respect and dignity.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Reading and writing comprehension in English.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours to meet business needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of recent or consistent experience in a fast-paced cGMP warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • SAP or WMS system experience.
  • Self-starter with strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
  • PIT operating experience or certifications.
  • Knowledge of Lean warehousing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Inventory control experience.
  • Receiving and shipping experience.
