Title: Privacy Generalist
Location: Remote
Duration: 11 Months Assignment

- Manage data privacy requests (deletion, access, portability, etc) with meticulous attention to details and meet compliance SLA and deadlines. Understand data flows, data security and data privacy policies and procedures.
- Meet performance expectations regularly and follow workflows and playbooks following leadership directions. Ensure we address all queries from data subjects within legal timeframes (e.g. delete or access their information from our databases).
- Providing upward feedback, regarding the status of cases, communicating regularly with supervisors and managers.
- Compile reports at the direction of leadership and maintain high levels of confidentiality while performing investigations.
- Maintain knowledge of current events in the legal and compliance spaces as they relate to data privacy practices.

You dig deeper and utilize all available resources to reach the best possible solution. You utilize creativity to propose original solutions and don't stop at the first, most obvious answers. You understand when a loss is the best solution and can explain why.
- Writing: Independently research and prepare responses to complex user complaints, investigations, and data incidents across multiple jurisdictions.
- Previous experience working within compliance or regulatory environment
- Demonstrated conceptual knowledge of privacy theories, practices, and regulatory frameworks (including EU, US, and regional laws).
- Proven ability to work independently, using existing procedures and analytical skills to solve standard and complex privacy problems.
- Experience proactively identifying workflow gaps and developing actionable solutions to drive operational excellence.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills; expert at managing multiple cases and tasks, often under urgent timeframes and with cross-jurisdictional complexity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—able to convey technical and policy information clearly to diverse audiences and collaborate with global stakeholders.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships, share knowledge, and promote best practices across teams.
- Adept at coordinating key programs and processes, preparing ongoing reporting, and leading information exchanges to ensure seamless program execution.
- Track record of contributing to team culture, supporting process improvements, and exemplifying Client’s core values.
- BONUS: Bilingual in French or German
