Role: Sr. CMDB Analyst
Duration: 04+ months with potential for extension/conversion

The Sr. CMDB Analyst will support operational efforts and projects supporting the teams reporting and metrics, communications and executing our playbook for the CMDB Data Certification prework.
 

• Work with data center managers to ensure completeness and accuracy of the CMDB for data center moves. Work with data center staff to improve CI location information consumed from the company’s datacenter management system.
• Work with the team to ensure a smooth transition for the ServiceNow platform upgrade from Xanadu to Zurich.
• Support the convergence of two ServiceNow CMDB and maintaining the accuracy of this effort.
• Create change requests and adhere to all change management delivery processes
• Support service mapping activities to complete the product to portfolio mappings of ours systems.
• Provide testing of the Participates in SDLC and Scrum meetings. Work within the Agile framework, including participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, and produce reports using the CMDB data including inventory reports, management reports, impact analysis reports, configuration status reports. Using the CMDB Query Builder for cross data functional views.
• Maintenance of the CMDB Health configurations and the ability to create custom KPIs. Support monthly reporting for leadership teams. Support the teams operating procedures for auditing the CMDB and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Execute our Data Certification readiness playbook in preparation for semi-annual data certifications.
