Job Title: Travel Medical Lab Scientist (?Core Lab and Micro)
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: 3x12, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Rotating Weekends/Holidays
Location: 1323 East A St, Wellington, KS
Vaccine Requirements: Hepatitis B, Tuberculosis (TB)
Job Summary:
The Travel Medical Lab Scientist will be responsible for traveling to various locations to perform routine medical laboratory tests. These tests are crucial for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean medical laboratory equipment.

Analyze test results to ensure conformity to specifications, using mechanical and electrical devices.

Gather, analyze, and record test data, issuing reports that include charts, graphs, and narratives.

Obtain specimens, isolate, and identify microorganisms for analysis.

Examine cells stained with dye to detect abnormalities.

Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.
Required Skills:

Education & Experience:

BS in medical technology or vocational training preferred.
