Position Title: Quality Control Technician - Incoming Inspection
Work Location: Indianapolis, IN 46256
Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift - 2-10:30pm Mon - Fri
Position Summary: Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.

Position Summary: Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. Once analyzed, may apply approval or rejection labels to materials.
- Responsible for the inspection of materials, parts, and tools as they are received from vendors and subcontractors
- Ensures that all products received meet established quality standards and requirements.
- Maintains records of inspection progress and problems
- Implements and may recommend corrective measures
Competencies:
- Acquires and applies job skills, company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Assignments are routine to semi-routine in nature. Works under supervision and receives detailed instructions on work assignments
- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Qualification & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 1+ year related experience
- Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field
- Detail oriented
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets)
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
Preferred requirements:
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred
