Job Description

Job Title: HR Generalist IV (Sales Compensation Sr Manager)
Location:Fully Remote (Est Time zone)
Duration:12 Months
Shift/Work Schedule: 1st shift. Mon – Fri. 8am – 5pm.  
 
Job Description:
This role will serve as program lead for sales compensation across Client's Diagnostic Division. The immediate focus will be in support of the sales incentive design process and taking inventory of the various methodologies utilized across the organization. Work will include finalizing the process for consistent market pricing review and job evaluation of sales positions in Diagnostics. The function will also advise on best practices and identify opportunities for organizational structure, job architecture, and incentive design improvements. The role will support the overall needs of Sales Compensation across the enterprise.
 
Position description:
  • Research and advise on best practices to facilitate achievement of sales compensation objectives.
  • Partner on sales incentive design review across enterprise-wide Client annually.
  • Includes maintenance of relationship with sales leadership, finance, and business executives, modeling scenarios, and providing guidance on best practices and design alternatives.
  • Prepare recommendations of new hire and internal sales offer and promotion packages.
  • Provide analytical support, model sales compensation scenarios, and make recommendations.
  • Conduct research and analysis on compensation proposals such as retention plans, sales incentive, and car allowances, and other compensation design and practices trends.
  • Maintain sales compensation data integrity and quality in Workday.
  • Conduct job evaluations using WTW software.
  • Market price jobs as needed using published survey data.
  • Provide sales compensation guidance in M&A due diligence and integration guidance.
  • Review job descriptions, job evaluations, and other work products developed by the team for quality and consistency.
  • Partner with Rewards leadership in leading a global job architecture and leveling project.
  • Support other compensation projects as needed including year-end planning, integration of acquisitions, and ad-hoc compensation reviews.
  • Assist on Compensation Review Board (Governance) meetings with sales leadership as needed.
 Experience:
  • 7+ years of compensation experience including experience with job evaluation and market pricing to include commercial roles.
  • Experience with sales incentive design needed.
  • Experience in broad-based compensation preferred.
  • Experience in a global company desirable.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, master’s degree preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated compensation expertise.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to lead change initiatives.
  • Strong relationship skills to build and maintain business relationships with sales leadership and HR business partners.
  • Business acumen and the ability to quickly understand key aspects of specific roles in a complex organization.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to act independently with disciplined self-directed action.
  • Comfort navigating complexity and uncertainty, while executing without significant direction.
  • Strong excel skills.
