The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, positive, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative Agile team. You will be responsible for creating and documenting applications within Tulip, a cloud-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to digitize manufacturing and quality processes.Key Responsibilities:- Independently specify, plan, design, develop, test, and support assigned software components.- Contribute to project scheduling, including defining scope, task duration, and execution order.- Monitor and report work progress against schedule commitments, proactively communicating risks to leadership.- Propose solutions to maintain schedule milestones, prioritize efforts, and monitor scope changes.- Collaborate with teams to establish requirements specifications and test plans for software product validation.- Translate requirements into well-structured, documented software components.- Implement new software component designs or enhance existing products; participate in complex subsystem implementations.- Troubleshoot and debug issues within automation systems, implementing modifications as needed.- Participate in technical design reviews and code inspections.- Ensure adherence to IDS development policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (including 21 CFR part 11 and BD quality standards).Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related Engineering discipline.- Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.- Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.- Experience in process-oriented/regulated environments and quality management systems.- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.- Knowledge of automation/process control.Desirable Skills:- Application development experience using Tulip.- Experience in MES development and working in FDA/ISO-regulated environments.- Proficiency with C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server.- Experience with Power BI and UX-focused software development.- IT infrastructure/hardware knowledge.Equal Opportunity Employer:Spectraforce is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on any protected category.
