Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Analyst II
Location: VPC or Chatham, ON
Duration: 1 year from start date with possibility of extension (to 17 months)
Hybrid: working on site Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and remotely Wednesday/Friday
Duties:
• Perform quantitative risk analysis of Enbridge Gas transmission and distribution pipeline systems using a consistent framework consistent with the Enbridge risk governance requirements.
• Support Integrity software implementation, data collection, execution, and modeling development for risk & integrity
• Perform root cause analysis, risk refinement and what-if assessments to quantify the impact of possible remedial actions.
• Use engineering statistics, simulations, and data analytics to support effective integrity & risk decisions
Requirements:
• Engineering degree with 2 years of experience
• Relevant industry experience in conducting quantitative risk assessments (QRAs), especially FTA, ETA and consequence analysis considered an asset
• Relevant work experience including pipeline engineering, station engineering, integrity management, and risk assessment considered an asset
• Experience building analytical models, statistical modeling, applied data science, machine learning, model evaluation considered an asset
• Proficient in computer science concepts and experience in various coding languages (e.g. SQL, VB, Python, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
