Job Description

Title: Data Scientist IV
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote


Summary:
  • The main function of the Data Scientist is to produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement.
  • Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
  • Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments.
  • Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.
  • Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, which includes, but limited to support for the online customer service dashboards and other ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Programming Proficiency :Strong experience in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Statistical & Machine Learning Expertise :Deep understanding of statistics, machine learning, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics.
  • Experience with Large Datasets :Ability to work with complex, high-dimensional, and large-scale data.
  • Experience as a Marketing Data Scientist
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Big Data Tools: Familiarity with Hadoop or similar big data platforms.
  • Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau for creating dashboards and visualizations.
  • Effective Written Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly and engage others in technical discussions.
  • Meta Ads Manager experience is a bonus
Degrees/Certifications:
  • Preferred : Master of Science degree in computer science or in a relevant field
Minimum Years of Experience
  • 8+
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms.
  • Generate and test hypotheses; analyze and interpret experiment results.
  • Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into products and features.
  • Provide BI and data visualization support for dashboards and ad-hoc requests.
Screening Process:
  • Round 1: Screening: 30 minutes with the hiring manager
  • Round 2: Technical Interview: 45 minutes focused on data skills
  • Round 3: Communication Round: 30 minutes assessing communication abilities
