About the Role

The Education team is seeking an experienced Video Editor to join the Education Media Group. The team works to enhance Education initiatives through the creation of video and graphics, as well as internal communications to teams and the greater employee base.

The Video Editor participates in all post-production activities, including edits, reviews, and synchronization of all aspects of the process to create educational video content for internal and external release.

You will collaborate with production team members to acquire raw footage and graphic content, as well as work closely with producers and graphic designers to select and edit content to meet technical and story requirements. Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• Efficiently handle workload, interact with stakeholders, communicate project status, receive feedback and adhere to tight deadlines
• Audio editing, mixing and mastering.
• Archiving, organizing and managing digital assets.
• Understanding of aspect ratios, frame rates, conversions, & codecs.
• Solve problems, adjust quickly and recommend creative solutions.
• Experience working with MOGRTs.

Other Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of other post-production aspects, including audio engineering, color correcting video, and project mastering.
• Familiarity with corporate environments and process management growing in a highly dynamic and fast paced organization.
• Proven track record of speed, quality, accuracy and innovation in post-production.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and implement AI translation tools.
• Stays on top of the latest editorial and post-production trends.
