Position Title: Lab Support Associate
Work Location: Onsite – Holly Springs, North Carolina, 27540
Assignment Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Standard Business Hours)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Lab Support Associate is responsible for the preparation, sterilization, and dispensing of cell culture media, conducting daily analyzer checks, maintaining accurate documentation, and performing various laboratory support duties to ensure smooth operation of the process development laboratories.
Background & Context
This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates eager to grow in a laboratory environment. The team will provide comprehensive training, so prior experience is beneficial but not required.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and other general duties for the Process Development team (training provided).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records.
- Occasionally serve as a vendor escort.
- Provide routine laboratory support including:
- Ordering, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment.
- Arranging and dismantling apparatus.
- Collecting, washing, and storing glassware.
- Prepare standard solutions and reagents as required.
- Compile batch records of prepared media in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Associate degree OR
- High school diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Certification directly related to the role and 2 years of experience.
- Preferred:
- Degree in Life Sciences with coursework focused on fermentation, purification, cell culture, or microbiology.
- General knowledge of laboratory procedures.
