Job Title: BIM Designer
Location: Kansas City, MO (100% onsite)
Permanent / Direct- Hire
Role Description:
As a BIM Designer, you’ll play a critical role in transforming design concepts into detailed, buildable plans using cutting-edge software tools. You’ll collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and fellow designers to model, coordinate, and deliver electrical systems for commercial and industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and Navisworks
- Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings with other trades
- Create detailed shop drawings, layout plans, and installation documentation
- Work closely with project teams to ensure constructability and accuracy
- Stay current with BIM best practices and construction technology trends
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling/design, preferably in electrical contracting
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player

Additional Notes :
Ideal candidate must be very skilled with Revit. Knowledge of Trimble, Evolve, and Navisworks is helpful, and must have experience with electrical design.
