Role: Workstation Support Analyst
Location: Charleston, SC
Duration: 11+ months
Interview mode: 1st round virtual and 2nd round onsite
Team Name: Workstation Support
The Team : Team of 7 onsite at GPC as well as 5 staff at remote sites. Highly collaborative team with a mix of senior and more junior members providing a high level of customer service to our internal customers. Support Citrix/RDP configurations for company as a whole from Charleston office. Also support 2 local sites in Charleston with one being a Blue Retail Store.

Duties:
- Responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining desktop software and hardware. Provides technical support and guidance to users.
- 55% Monitors/updates dispatch system and works incoming tickets as assigned. Provides troubleshooting, technical support and development of end-user guidelines. Configures, installs, monitors, and maintains IT users’ workstation software and hardware. Ensures proper backing up of data from user workstations and that tools and equipment are licensed and approved by IS purchasing. Ensures proper configuration and adherence to security configurations and settings.
- 10% Tests, troubleshoots, maintains, modifies, validates and documents application packages.
- 10% Documents configurations and standards so that colleagues can reference similar issues and improve resolution time. Assists other departments as needed to resolve issues.
- 20% May perform administrative task such as reporting, ordering replacement parts, and tracking status/inventory of items.
- 5% Keeps apprised of new technologies related to workstation support procedures.
- Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer. Routine transporting of items up to 30 lbs. Transporting items up to 70lbs on occasion.
- Responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining desktop software and hardware.
- Provides technical support and guidance to users.
- Provide 2nd level desktop support to internal customers whether it be deskside or over the phone.
- Respond to incident tickets where something no longer works that used to work as well as service requests involving installs, moves, adds, and changes to desktop hardware and software.
- Responsible for asset management and security compliance of all desktop systems and print devices. Support for Citrix/RDP access for users.
- Windows environment with Microsoft M365, IBM BigFix, Trellix, Cisco AnyConnect, ServiceNow.
- Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job related field. or 2 years of job related work experience.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with asset management systems, NetScout network analyzer, support of A/V systems, Citrix support.
- Solid customer service including ability to communicate in person and by phone. Ability to learn diverse environment quickly.
