This is an 8-hour first shift position.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for panel, enclosure, and field wiring of OEM automated machinery.
- This individual will be familiar with electrical/controls schematics and wiring diagrams and have experience utilizing various tools such as wire cutters, wire strippers, cable slitters, and crimping tools (insulated and non-insulated ring terminals, ferrules, etc.).
- Minimal training to educate the individual on our schematic layout expected.
- This position requires attention to detail, quality focused, technical ability, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Follow all policies and procedures including safety and quality standards.
- Perform panel, enclosure, and field wiring. These tasks must be completed under minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail, good organization, and capable of working independently with minimal instruction.
- Maintain inventory when adding or removing components.
- Keep on track of the project schedule, being sure to communicate problems or concerns.
- Labeling all wires, cables, and components to be sure there is proper traceability to and from any components.
- Direct hands-on involvement in installation, start-up, qualification, and debugging of new automation, including wiring and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
- This is a hands-on role, requiring the candidate to take on project work assigned as an individual contributor, or as a participant on cross functional teams.
