About the Role
Join our Quantitative Analytics team as a Senior .NET Developer and play a pivotal role in modernizing a mission-critical Front Office Windows application used daily by over 1,000 users. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in C#, WinForms, WPF, and multithreading to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that drive business value across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Modernize & Optimize: Refactor legacy codebases, implement multithreaded solutions, and architect for scalability and performance.
Windows Services: Develop and maintain robust Windows Services for background processing.
Data Integration: Enable seamless data exchange between applications and financial models using Excel Interop, XML processing, and serialization.
API Development: Build and consume REST APIs for integration with financial data sources.
Collaboration: Work closely with quantitative analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Quality & Testing: Conduct performance profiling, debugging, and write unit tests to support automated testing strategies.
Must Have skills:
1. C#, WinForms, and .NET 7/8 – 10 years
2. Experience in WPF – 5+ years
3. Multithreading, parallel processing (TPL, async/await, locks) – 7 years
4. Windows Services – 5+ years
5. XML processing and serialization – 5+ years
6. SQL database skills – 5+ years
7. Git, CI/CD (ideally TeamCity) – 5 Years
Nice to have skills:
1. Cloud integration (Azure/AWS)
2. Python scripting for automation or data processing
3. Knowledge of OTC derivatives or financial instruments
4. Banking experience
